The Introduction

Do you eat too much and want to understand why? Do you consider yourself to be a "comfort eater"?

The Introduction to the Understanding Your Eating Programme consists of a series of five seminars conducted weekly and lasting one and a half hours. The seminars have the following titles:

  • Seminar 1 - Eating is not just about hunger!
  • Seminar 2 - Eating to manage feelings
  • Seminar 3 - Self esteem and how it helps you look after yourself better
  • Seminar 4 - Improving body esteem
  • Seminar 5 - Using people instead of food to get you through the day

Each seminar will be run in a group of no more than 15 people. They will be psycho-educational and confidential and run by a professional and experienced counsellor.

The cost of the course is £95. Some courses are still available at the special introductory cost of £60.
